The department of Electronics was established in the year 2004 as B.Sc (MECS) in English medium to impart quality education and to train in the field of Electronics. The department offers a Bachelor Program with an intake of 50 students per year.
The branch of physics and technology concerned with the design of circuits using transistors and microchips, and with the behavior and movement of electrons in a semiconductor, conductor, vacuum or gas.
To ensure that the students learn in an environment that promotes innovation, improves intellectual capability, and imparts in-depth knowledge on emerging technologies while helping students build brilliant careers that contribute to the interests of nation and mankind.
To be one of the outstanding players in the fields of Electronics and to be recognized globally as an excellent department, offering quality higher education and ethically being on par with the ever increasing demands of electronics and communication industry and man power requirement.
To establish center-of-excellence in various fields of electronics and communications and to create more and more entrepreneurs, publishes, and patents in the emerging areas of the same.

We conduct work shop by professors to improve students’ practical knowledge, seminars by experienced faculty members to improve the technical skills of our students, Guest lectures by experienced faculty members to improve students’ knowledge.
Industrial visit by students to Central organized Power Grid at Mittapally. And also visited Sriram Sagar Dam project with guide.
Our students visited Deshpande Foundation, at Hubli in Karnataka for LEAD program. And our students adopted a school as a part of LEAD program. They got 1st prize for best project at Hubli, Karnataka.
